SANTIAGO.-  Humberto Suazo has not had the most pleasant stay in Mexico.  Failing to be the striker that team Monterrey had hoped for, he has suffered a rejection from the fans and media.

He has also been criticized for a poor opening this week, affected by minor injuries that have kept him off the field for various weeks.

Monterrey is receiving offers for Suazo and will easily hand him over to any club willing to put down the requested five million dollars.

Team Independiente de Argentina seems to have the money and is willing to pay it.  The team’s Board of Directors is about to trade Ismael Sosa to a team in Russia and currently has the capital to bring the Monterrey forward to the Avalleneda club.

Despite this, Monterrey coach Isaac Mizrahi says that “the player is here at the present and is respected.  I have always said that I am going to work with what we have and Humberto is here, he´s happy, ready to work and has a positive attitude”.
