Edmundo Varas has his wild night

SANTIAGO.– The winner of reality program "Amor Ciego" (Blind Love), Edmundo Varas, was arrested this morning at his home after battering a police officer.

Law enforcement officials arrived at his home at 2:45 a.m. after receiving a complaint of disorderly conduct. When police arrived at Edmundo's condominium, they found him in the yard in a state that was reportedly out-of-control.

When they tried to calm him down, the notorious ex-boyfriend of "Cari" attacked the officer with his fists, breaking the policeman's portable radio.

Edmundo was taken to the 12th Commissary of San Miguel, and will be charged with battering a uniformed officer and another misdemeanor. The case will be presided over by the Military Court.
