SANTIAGO.– A fight started by two women in the Greenbull nightclub in the Suecia neighborhood of Providencia last night ended with numerous gunshot wounds and five arrests.

According to preliminary information, Nicol Miranda, 21, and Elizabeth Campos, 26 went into the club while their boyfriends waited outside because the doormen had not allowed them to enter.

As was reported by Radio Cooperativa, once inside the bar, the two women started a fight and then exited- promising to get revenge for what had happened.

Miranda and Campos left the club and met up with their boyfriends Luis Caro and Julio Martínez, both 21 years old. The group went to get their vehicle and a short while later they drove in front of the bar and fired six shots randomly into the locale, injuring numerous clients.

Major Juan Carlos Rodríguez informed that "as they were driving by the bar, the front seat passenger, in an incomprehensible act, shot into the building without caring who was inside and then they sped off".

Many people were wounded to varying degrees in the shooting, all of whom were taken to Hospital Salvador.

Shortly after, the group was caught and detained.
