SANTIAGO.- The maternal grandmother of conjoined twins Catalina and Agustina, who were born on Monday of this week at the Hospital Barros Luco, stated today that the girls are connected at the pelvis.

"My granddaughters have one body, for four little arms and two heads. That's what my granddaughters look like and they are truly adorable", Jacqueline Albornoz told Canal 13.

For now, the conjoined twins remain "stable and in perfect health conditions in the Neonatal Unit" of the hospital.

The family of the twins stated that they do not have the economic means necessary to care for the girls, whose mother is only 18 years old.
