SANTIAGO/ PARIS.- The Chilean tennis players at the Roland Garros tournament enjoyed a beneficial drawing, although two of them could face each other during the third round.

Fernando González (ATP No.12) will face a player from the qualifiers, Paul Capdeville (ATP No.76) will go up against Argentine player Diego Junqueira (ATP No.79) and Nicolás Massú (ATP No.122) will play against Austrian player Daniel Koellerer (ATP No.81).

Capdeville and Massú could face each other during the third round, although the Santiago native will have to defeat a rival that he just recently lost to in Kitzbühel before going up against Russian national Nikolay Davydenko (ATP No.10) and Austrian player Stefan Koubek.

Meanwhile, Massú and Koellerer faced each other in Kitzbühel in 2005, where the Viña del Mar native triumphed by 7-6(5) and 7-5. If he moves on to the next round, he will compete against the winner of a match between French national Nicolas Devilder and Swiss player Stanislas Wawrinka (ATP No.18).

Finally, if González seals a victory during the first round, he will move on to the second round to play against the winner of a match between Belgian player Kristof Vliegen and another qualifying match player. Later, he could face Russian national Marat Safin and French national Gilles Simon (ATP No.7) in the quarterfinals.
