An octopus named "Octi" opens a bottle using its tentacles to get to the food inside at the National Aquarium in the town of Napier in New Zealand. The octopus was donated to the aquarium two months ago after being found on a local beach.

The elixir of youth may ultimately be hidden in a poorly understood gene that not only fosters longevity but enhances quality of life, according to a landmark study released today.
