In the image an Indian wrestler is seen washing up following a practice session at the Akhara (wrestling) ground on the outskirts of New Delhi. India´s indigenous form of wrestling and once a royal national sport, Akhara, is based on the physical culture template which dates back thousands of years and is traditionally performed on a sandpit. Indian wrestling authorities however tend to band this form of sandpit wrestling in an attempt to help its wrestlers keep pace with the rest of the world. Ver más.

Artist´s impression of the Teranis aircraft. BAE Systems announced today that work had started on the physical build of the Taranis airframe, a 124 million pound (US$251 million) unmanned combat aerial vehicle demonstrator aimed at helping Britain´s Ministry of Defense determine future balance of assets within the Armed Forces. Ground testing of Teranis is scheduled to begin in early 2009, with the first flight trials due to take place in 2010. Ver más.
