SANTIAGO.- The 13th Chilean soccer "Apertura" tournament is scheduled to begin this Friday with a match between Huachipato and Iquique.
The most gripping event however, will take place on Sunday at the National Stadium, where Universidad de Chile will go up against Colo Colo for another face-off between Chile’s two biggest football rivals.
The match has been confirmed by ANFP for 4:00 PM on April 19th, at the athletic complex in Ñuñoa.
The clash will be crucial, especially for Colo Colo, given the team's shaky performance in the local tournament, where the group has gone six games without a win.
In fact, Coach Marcelo Barticiotto has projected that the match will pull the team out of its current slump.
