"Chalky" (L) and "Milford" (R), two very rare Fiordland crested penguins (Eudyptes pachyrhynchus), the only females of their kind in captivity anywhere in the world, call out for their new found mate in Sydney´s Taronga Zoo. "Munroe", a male Fiordland crested penguin which was discovered washed up on a beach near Sydney is recovering in an adjacent pen, and will be introduced to the two females as part of Taronga´s endangered species breeding program. Ver más.
