An Indian idol maker works rests in front of semi-finished clay statues of including those of Hindu goddess Durga in Kumartoli, the idol makers village of Kolkata. Monsoon rain has made it difficult for artisans to finish idols on schedule, with the recent economic slowdown and rising inflation adding to the difficulties of the artisans ahead of the Durga Puja Hindu festival to be celebrated in October. Ver más.
