COPIAPÓ.- The Telethon Foundation would have been quite satisfied if only 10 thousand people had arrived at the "Estadio Municipal" in Copiapó. Not even the most optimistic forecasts however, predicted the final number. More than 17 thousand people crowded into the precinct.

The audience was controlled by two figures that are even stronger together on stage.  We are referring to Rafael Araneda and Vivi Kreutzberger.

The entertainers calmed the audience with their interventions and won them over with "koalas" and cheers for Chile's national soccer team after their afternoon tie with Uruguay.

In the mainly musical show, Croni-k, Daniel Guerrero, Difuntos Correa and the comedy group "Los cuatro octavos" marked the high points of the event, which ended at about 12:00 AM.

The tour will now stop for two days before setting off for the south of the country. It will start again this Wednesday with the long-awaited hosting of Cecilia Bolocco.
