Miss Chile from the Miss World Pageant in China: Beauty "is added value to spreading ideas"

BEIJING.- Chile's representative for the Miss World contest, Bernardita Zúñiga, looked pleasantly surprised by the high level of preparation from this year's participants and stressed that, during the days they have spent together, she has learned that beauty "can be an important added value to gaining awareness for a cause".


The young woman from Viña del Mar stated that the weeks the contestants, from all over the world, have spent in Hainan (in the south of China), where the Miss World Final will be celebrated on December 1st, have been a unique opportunity.


"I didn't really know much about the pageant, and I was surprised by the dance or music performances that some of the contestants have prepared", said Zúñiga.


Miss Chile pointed out the friendly environment between the Latin American contestants and, with regards to the organization, stated that it is fantastic and "a bit rigorous".


Bernardita is 24 years old, studies industrial Design, is a sports fanatic and says that she loves to travel.
