SANTIAGO.- A cutoff of running water will affect 23 thousand Aguas Andinas customers for 14 hours in areas of the communes of Peñalolén and La Reina, due to work that is being done to install a new, five-thousand cubic meter tank.
The cutoff will run from 4:00 PM today until 06:00 AM tomorrow inside the perimeter defined by roads: Américo Vespucio, Quilín, Tobablaba and Larraín.
The company has stressed that, although the cutoff may mean problems and inconvenience for customers, the new tank will allow people in the area to have better pressure and flow of running water.
In order to minimize inconvenience, Aguas Andinas has provided basic recommendations to residents and has assured that supply will return "to 100 percent" at 06:00 AM tomorrow.
