LONDON.- Copper closed today at the London Metal Exchange (LME) with a 1.48% gain after trading for $ 3.06855 U.S. dollars per pound of "grade A", compared to $ 3.02365 U.S. dollars on Wednesday and $ 3.02841 U.S. dollars on Monday.
As a result, both the monthly and yearly averages climbed to $ 3.04610 U.S. dollars.
At the LME, stocks decreased by 750 metric tons, to 198.175. So far this year, an overall increase of 725 MT has been accumulated (+0.37%).
