Colo Colo begins the season with medical check-ups

Team Colo Colo will travel to Osorno for a 10-day preseason training session.

SANTIAGO.- After a short vacation break, Colo Colo returned to the Monumental Stadium this morning to hold a meeting between some of the players and coaching staff for the start of the 2008 season.


The players who attended were Arturo Sanhueza, Jorge Carrasco, Moisés Villarroel, Rodrigo Millar, Luis Mena, Rodolfo Moya, Gustavo Biscauzacú along with the team’s new addition, defense player Ricardo Rojas.


After meeting for more than two hours, Claudio Borghi's players left the facility in Macul without giving any statements to media.


This afternoon, the team plans to go in for physical and endurance exams at the Meds health center.


This Tuesday, there will be no morning practice, the team will continue with medical check-ups for players who were not examined today.


On Wednesday, Colo Colo has a new, 7:00 PM "Noche Alba" match at the Monumental Stadium. The next day, the team will travel to Osorno for a 10-day preseason training session.
