SANTIAGO.- The third day in the trial against Tito Beltrán for an alleged rape has unveiled even more bizarre elements after the mother of Beltrán's ex-wife stated that she had also been abused in 2006 while receiving a massage from the singer.

"I was tired that day and I had a headache. Tito offered to give me a massage. First, he gave me a pill. I was wearing a short skirt. When I woke up, he was sitting on top of me and performing sexual acts", the woman said.

According her story, the incident would have occurred in August 2006, but the woman had not wanted to come forward to report it because she was "shocked" and worried for "her daughter's sake", Beltran's wife at the time.

Beltrán's ex-mother in law said that she did not remember how many times she had reported him during 2001 and 2007. Defense Attorney Thomas Nilsson reminded her of the figure: seven police reports, not one of them for rape. Seated behind the defense table, Beltrán himself could not resist sighing "Oh, God!" during the testimony of his former mother in law. Beltrán has accused the woman on various occasions of committing slander in the hopes of getting money out of him.
