HIRONO.- The Chilean National Team is ready to face their Japanaese rival tomorrow. Marcelo Bielsa's men are hoping to achieve positive results in Asia despite the frigid temperatures and snow.

Bielsa announced today that the matches that the team will play against Japan and South Korea (on January 30th in Seoul) will be a good opportunity to observe new players that may be able to go on to participate in the classifying matches of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The coach also explained to Radio Cooperativa that "if the performance in these two games is satisfactory, those who stand out will definitely play a big part in the remaining classifying matches", pointing out that young players are needed in order to replace the older generation.

Bielsa also stated that the practice of using "spies" to uncover information about strategic formations and team videos is a common occurrence. He added however, that the frequency of such occurrences should not be exaggerated.
