Victor Hugo Castañeda: "We’ll be up against a weakened version of the Católica team"

SANTIAGO. -  Universidad Católica will face a test of strength today at 9:30 PM against Deportes La Serena at the La Portada de Serena Stadium.  The team already has their mind on their debut at the Copa Libertadores tournament as the visiting team against Mexican team América on the 20th of this month.

The Coach of La Serena, Victor Hugo Castañeda, is quite aware of the toll taken on Universidad Catolica after being defeated by Unión Española at San Carlos de Apoquindo Stadium and hopes to take advantage of the situation to show that great things lie ahead for his team in the Apertura Tournament.

“We’ll be going up against a weakened version of Católica after losing a rather unusual match, because they thought that they were going to win and they lost with a free kick.  They are going to try to give it all they’ve got at this match”, said Castañeda.

The coach remains calm about La Serena´s upcoming performance against Universidad Católica, maintaining that the pressure to play well is on the UC and that they are obligated to make it a good match.
