SANTIAGO. - The Universidad Católica team trained early Monday morning prior to their trip to Mexico where they will play against the América team on Wednesday, February 19. They are competing for group 5 of the Libertadores Cup.

Trainer Fernando Carvallo went over tactic with the players and has created what will most likely be the lineup Wednesday at the Azteca stadium. The main novelty is the placement of three wingbacks who will be at midfield, including Iván Vásquez in the place of Rodrigo Toloza.

The lineup includes José María Buljubasich, Boris González, Marco González, Facundo Imboden, Eros Pérez; Iván Vásquez, Jorge Ormeño, Gary Medel, Darío Botinelli; Aílton da Silva and Héctor Tapia.

“With three wingers we can close up and push the game forward”, said goal keeper Buljubasich, avoiding defining the lineup as defensive, “it depends on how the players go about it though”, he emphasized.
