Kramer on his debut at Viña: “I can’t promise not to impersonate Julio Martinez”

VIÑA DEL MAR. - Despite being charged with the difficult task of a comedic opening at this year’s Viña Festival on Thursday the 21st, Kramer claims to be entirely calm in the face of the Viña “monster”.

“I hadn’t really thought about being the first onstage or even whether that really matters” he stated to El Mercurio. “I’m just hoping to enjoy the moment and that the crowd enjoys themselves as well”.

Will you do any new impersonations?
“We’ll see. You understand, since I have this multiple personality disorder, I never really know who might step in and possess my body. Comedy always has to have an element of surprise.”

Is this the right moment for you to debut at the Festival? Wouldn’t you have preferred to wait longer?
“One’s career is in a constant state of evolution. Of course you need a good amount of experience to do live comedy, but I believe that this opportunity has come at a great moment for me, I have enough behind me to feel pretty relaxed at this moment”.
