SANTIAGO. - Ignacio, a five year old boy, remains hospitalized at the Félix Bulnes Hospital after his father, Pedro Pincheira, repeatedly battered him and five of his brothers in the Porvenir community of Cerro Navia. His current diagnosis has yet to be released.

As reported on Radio Cooperativa, the six boys, aged between 5 and 15 years, had been dealt severe physical and psychological abuse up until last Monday when their uncle, Luis Pincheira, decided to take the children out of his brother’s custody.

The case was made public last Monday night, when young Ignacio was admitted to the medical facility in critical condition.

The uncle of the minors revealed that Pedro Pincheira “beat them, threatened them, made them eat their own excrement and drink urine, he didn’t let them go to the bathroom, he didn’t give them water”.

Disturbed by the cruel abuse of his nephews, Luis Pincheira has demanded that his brother and sister-and-law, who remain free, be brought to justice.
