SAN SEBASTIÁN.-  Goalkeeper for Real Sociedad and former Colo Colo player Claudio Bravo, has not ruled out possibly accepting the proposal offered to him by the club to renew his contract until 2012, despite not having played since entering the league.

Bravo publicly responded to the offer made by Iñaki Badiola to extend his stay in San Sebastián, saying that he is “thinking calmly about it”, acknowledging that he is “happy about the fact that they wish the renew the contract and that they remain confident in my playing”.

The Real Sociedad goalkeeper has been in San Sebastián for 2 years, where he has been a constant starter over the last season, and has become one of the best players in the Spanish League, despite not playing during the current season.

The reason he has not been playing this season stems from Chris Coleman´s controversial decision to exclude Bravo after he was not able to participate in the pre-season training sessions along with the rest of the team.  Bravo had been playing at the time on the Chilean National Team at the past Copa América tournament in Venezuela.
