SANTIAGO.  At 8:50 AM this morning, Chilean President Michelle Bachelet arrived at the Santiago Posta Central Medical Center to visit 32 year-old Lucinda Villalobos Castillo – one of the victims most seriously injured during yesterday’s air tragedy in Peñalolén.

The President was accompanied by the Mayor of the Metropolitain Region, Álvaro Erazo and the Subsecretary of Emergency Services, Ricardo Fábrega.

Previously, Bachelet had visited Mariana Fierro, who is currently receiving medical care at the Police Hospital after having suffered burns over 90% of her body.  Mariana Fierro, along with Sandra Garretón, who has been admitted to the Clínica Indisa medical center, are those listed in most critical condition after receiving serious burn injuries caused by the fatal accident.

According to sources at La Moneda, these visits are currently the only ones that will be made by the President.
