SANTIAGO.- Soprole has achieved historic results for 2007, reporting final earnings at $23.796 billion pesos, indicating a growth rate of 160% when compared to the same data for 2006.
According to information released today from the Securities and Exchange Comission (SVS), operational profits alone reached $32.352 billion pesos for the period, indicating growth of 178% when compared to the previous year.
One of the most crucial variables affecting 2007´s results was the 30% jump in the company’s operating income compared to the previous year.
The rise can be attributed to the strategy developed by the company which is based on three factors: assuring the availability of milk; a sales plan focused on creating value; and continuous improvement in management, production and logistics processes.
