SANTIAGO.-  Ministry of Interior Subsecretary Felipe Harboe stated today that the Chilean government will file all possible requests to have Freddy Fuentevilla Saa and Marcelo Villarroel Sepúlveda extradited back to the country.  The men are fugitives wanted in the robbery of Security Bank, which resulted in the death of Police Corporal Luis Moyano.

Nevertheless, Harboe reiterated that the extradition of the two men “will not be an easy task” due to the fact that “they have been charged with illegal arms possession in Argentina”.

Harboe confirmed that, according to the information received from police and legal sources, “indeed, both individuals may have been involved” in the crime.

The sub secretary also added that the degree of their involvement would be investigated by the Military Public Attorney’s Office, in the murder case of Officer Moyano, and by the Central North Public Attorney’s Office in the case of the bank robbery.
