Computers stolen from design company in Providencia

After smashing a window, the thieves took five Hewlett Packard computers, valued at a total of 15 million pesos.

SANTIAGO .-  Early this morning, a group of unidentified suspects broke into the “Magias” computer design company located in the municipality of Providencia .  


After smashing a window, the thieves stole five complete Hewlett Packard computer systems, valued at a total of 15 million pesos.   


The assailants managed to jimmy open a security fence and proceeded to enter the building through one of the windows facing outward towards Los Piñones Street.  


The owner of the company, identified as 35 year-old Cristian Montelli Ravinet, arrived first to the scene.  José Villalobos Gómez, the public prosecutor on duty at the time of the incident, will preside over the case.
