SANTIAGO.- Police are currently pursuing four perpetrators, including a 12 year-old boy, involved in the robbery of a home belonging to a Transbank executive, located in the municipality of Vitacura on Padre Hurtado Avenue.

According to María Paz Valdivieso, -- a daughter of the victim who was not at home at the time of the incident— the intruders gained entrance to the home through a second-story window leading to the bedroom of her 19 year-old sister, Magdalena.

The suspects threatened the young girl with knives and a handgun.  One of the assailants even held a knife to Magdalena’s neck, forcing her to go down to the first floor where they threatened her parents, businessman José Manuel Valdivieso and María Luisa Quiroga.

Later, the assailants took the victims to a master bedroom where they used telephone cables to tie up the husband and wife while demanding money and jewelry from them.
