SANTIAGO.- The Supreme Court Bench chose a new list of possible candidates this morning to fill the position left by the former Justice and ex-President of the Maximum Tribunal, Enrique Tapia Wittig.

The list includes the same names proposed during the last nomination session, when Harolod Brito was named the new Supreme Court Justice, this time however; the name of Court of Appeals Minister Alejandro Solís was also included.

The nomination roster is once again led by Alfredo Pfeiffer and Concepción Court of Appeals Minister Gueillermo Silva, both with seven votes.

The two candidates are followed by Magistrates Rosa María Maggi and Alejandro Solís, with six votes, while Valparaíso Minister Julio Torres Ayllú (who was added to the nomination based on seniority rights) completes the list of five.
