The animals are very close to the shoulder of the roadway and there is no barrier keeping them from entering onto the highway, which is currently reporting heavy vehicular traffic.

SANTIAGO.-  For the second time in two months, a couple of cows have reportedly been grazing on one of the street medians near the Costanera Norte Highway, at Tabancura Avenue intersection in the municipality of Vitacura.

The animals are currently located very close to the shoulder of the road and there is no barrier keeping them from moving onto the highway (which is experiencing a high level of vehicular traffic at the moment), posing a risk to drivers.

An adult cow and a calf have recently become quite agitated.

The situation is a repetition of an incident that occurred on Sunday, June 15th of this year, when a cow went to the same location to graze within one of the green areas located on the street median at the intersection of the highway and Tabancura.
