SANTIAGO.- Two people were killed in a traffic accident that occurred this morning on the road to San Antonio, in the town of “El Monte”, located in the Metropolitan Region.
A shared taxi (“taxi colectivo”) and a van collided at the 44th kilometer of the road, resulting in the death of a passenger and her young daughter.
According to Radio Bío Bío, the accident also left several people injured.
Police officers and firefighters from the town of El Monte, are currently working at the scene of the crash.
