Teenage boy in life-threatening condition after falling off bus in Valparaíso

VALPARAISO-  15 year-old Pablo Serón Zamorano is currently listed in extremely critical condition after falling off of a moving bus that had been traveling with its doors open in the city of Valparaíso.

 At the time of the accident, the teenager was returning to his home after meeting with a group of classmates for a study session in Viña del Mar.

Witnesses say the boy lost his balance as the bus rounded a curve, causing him to fall from the vehicle and hit his head against the pavement.

Due to the serious injuries he sustained, the adolescent remains in life-threatening condition at the Intensive Care Unit at the Clinica de Reñaca medical center. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the bus is expected to face serious injury charges.
