SANTIAGO.- Following the Chilean national team's match against Turkey, sports analysts agree that the squad missed out on goals. Humberto Suazo was the one in charge of scoring for the team, but the playmaker ended the afternoon leaving much to be desired and with no celebration.

A similar situation is being observed in Mexico. After being the most celebrated striker of the most recent tournament, Suazo has yet to make another goal, spurring hints of concern and criticism.

The Mexican press is reportedly saying that "he outshined everyone in the 2008 Apertura tournament, but has failed to make any goals since and has performed poorly in four matches".

"Suazo has appeared to be anxious to score. As soon as he gets the ball, he takes it on as a challenge to slip past any defender that gets in his way and he ends up losing control of the ball and not being able to score", states the newspaper El Porvenir.

The periodical went on to comment that, "exhausted and in the middle of a scoring slump, Suazo has so far registered 360 minutes with no new goals. La Pandilla has already gone up against the Camoteros of Puebla, the Indios of Ciudad Juárez, the Chivas Rayadas of Guadalajara and the Tecos from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara".
