Copper bounces back to $3.20 at the London Exchange

The red metal is up by almost 3%.

LONDON.- Copper recovered recent losses today with a boost of 2.84% this Friday at the London Metal Exchange (LME) after trading for $3.21869 US dollars per pound of 'grade A' material, compared to USD $3.12979 on Thursday and USD $3.11210 on Wednesday.


Nevertheless, the monthly average decreased to $3.23067 US dollars and the yearly average to $3.64649 US dollars.


The future 3-month price ended at $3.20055 US dollars per pound, up 2.77% from Thursday (USD $3.11437).


At the LME, stocks decreased by 1,050 metric tons to 203,075.
