SANTIAGO.- The national captain for the Davis Cup, Hans Gildemeister, is not hiding his concern over the drawing that resulted in Croatia being Chile's next rival at their upcoming return to the World Group.

According to the former ATP Nº12, "Croatia is the worst scenario that we could have drawn, along with Russia. The Croatians are skilled players; they have four players within the top 50 and two formerly in the top-ten, proving that any of them can play singles and doubles".

Gildemeister added that "it is clear that this is going to be a tremendously difficult match, since they are going to give us a fast court, but I still have faith in my team".

For the Chilean coach, "the pressure will surely be on Croatia. They are obligated to win, but even so, the important thing is that the Croatians hold much respect for Fernando (González) and they also fear our team quite a bit".

Gildemeister maintained that "the key will be the doubles match. It is a game that could define the overall outcome. We also can't forget about what Nicolás (Massú) is capable of".
