SANTIAGO.- Tonight's match between Chile and Mexico in Los Angeles, USA, has the Mexicans a bit uneasy over Coach Sven-Göran Eriksson's team formation.

The periodical "El Universal" has reported that the Mexican team has been "completely reformed out of necessity", indicating that their Swedish coach is going to "try them out" at what the "Crónica" newspaper says will be an "uneasy confrontation".

The anxiety surrounding the match stems from the fact that, just like Chile, the Mexican team will be made up of players that have never played for the national squadron before: Jonathan Orozco, Juan Carlos Valenzuela, Jorge Emmanuel Torres, William Paredes, Arnhold Rivas and Carlos Esquivel.

Nevertheless, the team will also include the experienced competitors Luis Ernest Pérez (61 matches with Mexico), Sinha (43) and Mario Méndez Olague, since the clubs of Guadalajara, Cruz Azul, Pumas, Santos, San Luis and Atlanta did not have international commitments to attend to.

Mexico and Chile have competed a total of 22 times, with 12 wins for the Mexicans, 2 ties and eight triumphs for "la Roja", which has not been able to defeat the Mexican team since 1996.
