LONDON.- Copper closed with a 1.34% loss this Wednesday at the London Metal Exchange (LME) after trading for US$ 3.17288 per pound of "grade A" material, compared to US$ 3.21597 on Tuesday and US$ 3.25044 on Monday.
As a result, the monthly average fell to US$ 3.19931, while the yearly average slipped to US$ 3.62558.
Meanwhile, the future-3-month price ended at US$ 3.17288 per pound, down 1.35% from Tuesday (US$ 3.21642).
At the LME, stocks dropped by 1,025 metric tons to 201,050.
