LONDON.- Copper closed with it’s third straight loss today, falling 1.29% at the London Metal Exchange (LME) after trading for US$ 3.13206 per pound of "grade A" material, compared to US$ 3.17288 on Wednesday of this week and US$ 3.21597 on Tuesday.
As a result, the monthly average slipped to US$ 3.1977, while the yearly average fell to US$ 3.62294.
Meanwhile, the future-3-month price ended at US$ 3.11437 per pound, down 1.87% from Wednesday (US$ 3.17288).
At the LME, stocks decreased by 525 metric tons to 200,525.
