Chilean Rock Festival already has artists confirmed

SANTIAGO.- The second "Cumbre del Rock Chileno" is starting to take shape. Los Jaivas, Los Tres, Jorge González, Los Bunkers, Francisca Valenzuela, Criminal and Fiskales Ad Hok are some of the first artists to be confirmed for the show, which will take place on January 11th of 2009.

This second festival will occur two years after the first, which was held in the heart of one of the most emblematic venues in the country: the National Stadium. There, close to 40 artists rotated through two performance stages.

The layout that has been planned for the second festival is similar to that used for the first, but with a few slight changes. This time, instead of two stages, there will be three: two for the artists to rotate upon and a third designed exclusively for the most well-known local rock participants.

The "Cumbre del Rock Chileno II" is expected to bring together artists from the last four decades, as well as popular performers that have surfaced during the last five years.
