SANTIAGO.- The Argentine national soccer team held a light practice session at the Ezeiza Training Complex today in preparation for their confrontation against Chile tomorrow during the first event of the second round of the World Cup South Africa 2010 Qualifying Matches.

The squad, coached by Alfio Basile, held their last practice this morning starting at 10:00AM. During the private session, the Argentine coach worked to fine-tune the group's tactical details and designate who will be included in the team of eleven starters to take the field at the Estadio Nacional.

Following the conclusion of the practice, the team did not speak to the press. The group has been scheduled to set out for Santiago at 3:30PM today on a charter flight.

For now, the Argentine Federation of Football has not requested a revision of the playing field, and so the team will spend their entire time in Santiago at the Marriot Hotel located in the eastern sector of the capital.

Following the game (which is scheduled to begin at 8:15PM) the Argentine players will make a quick return to Buenos Aires.
