SANTIAGO.- After his absence from the challenger tournament in Argentina, Chilean tennis player Nicolás Massú has slid in the ATP ranking.

Chile's number two tennis player dropped to Nº84 in the official roster after he was unable to take to the court in Buenos Aires due to stomach problems.

Nevertheless, the Viña del Mar native has confirmed his participation in the Cali Challenger in Colombia, where he will have another opportunity to move up in the world ranking.

Meanwhile, Fernando González has registered no change in his position and continues at Nº 13.

After bidding farewell to the Paris-Bercie Masters Series, the La Reina native opted to take a vacation and return on November 20th for his pre-season training.

Paul Capedeville continues at Nº 117 of the ranking and will begin his participation at the Cali Challenger this week.
