Latest calculations: Alianza 40.56% in mayors and Concertación 45.24% in city council positions

SANTIAGO.- According to the final official count announced this morning by the Undersecretary of Interior, Felipe Harboe, the Alianza continues with a majority of mayors, while the Concertación has obtained more votes for city councilors.

With 97.78% of the national voting sites accounted for, the coalition voting results are the following for the mayoral elections:

A: Por un Chile Limpio – 4%
B: La Fuerza del Norte – 0.38%
C: Concertación Democrática – 28.71%
D: Juntos Podemos Más – 6.36%
E: Alianza – 40.56%
F: Concertación Progresista – 9.75%
Independientes – 10.2%

The results indicate that the Concertación has a total of 38.46% while the Alianza has 40.56%.

With regards to councilors, with 91.39% of the voting sites accounted for, the results are as follows:

A: Por un Chile Limpio – 7.57%
B: La Fuerza del Norte – 0.49%
C: Concertación Democrática – 27.9%
D: Juntos Podemos Más – 9.08%
E: Alianza – 35.99%
F: Concertación Progresista –17.34%
Independientes – 1.59%

These figures indicate that the Concertación has registered 45.24% of the votes, while the Alianza has 35.99%.
