SANTIAGO.- The most intimate friends and family members of former soccer player Eduardo Bonvallet have resorted to a state of total remoteness after the sports commentator went missing for more than 13 hours yesterday, prompting his family to file a missing person report.

After hours of anguish, Bonvallet's daughter, Daniela, confirmed to EMOL that her father had turned up just after 7:00PM last night alive and well.

Later it was reported that Bonvallet had been taken to the Clínica Alemana medical center, where he was hospitalized for a severe bout of depression.

Today, the daughter of the former national team player did not wish to offer further details regarding her father, merely stating that "he is well and we are not going to talk about it any more".

Meanwhile, the Public Relations department of the hospital announced that Bonvallet "remains hospitalized in stable condition within the Intensive Care Unit".

It is still unknown how long the former coach of Deportes Temuco will continue to be hospitalized at the clinic.
