SANTIAGO.- Humberto Suazo is having a difficult time in Mexico. Yesterday, the Mexican press even speculated that he may lose his starting status in Monterrey, implying that there may have been a falling out between the Chilean player and Coach Ricardo La Volpe.

Suazo heard the news and read the papers and decided to step out and refute the criticism and speculations. During a brief press conference, Suazo cleared up everything.

"I just want to clear something up about what happened yesterday. I am very upset, what was published today (yesterday) is completely untrue", he stated.

"I am having a pelvic problem that has not allowed me to practice normally. Yesterday (Monday) I only got upset because I tried to practice and I couldn't do it, so these things bother me quite a bit".

"They are detrimental to me, to my family, they hurt the team, which is trying to move forward, and I hope, I don't know if anything will come of it or not, that everything gets cleared up".

"I am very happy here with my team, my family is happy here in the city and these things really jeopardize my well being".

"Maybe later I will speak more calmly with all of you, but for now, that is all I have to say", were the last words offered by Suazo, who did not indicate whether or not he would take to the field to play this weekend.
