González falls while Capdeville rises in ATP ranking

Chile's number one tennis player has slipped two slots and is now positioned in 15th place, while the Vitacura native has climbed 13 spots to Nº 104.

SANTIAGO.- After bidding farewell to the Paris-Bercy Masters Series, Chile's number one tennis player awoke in 15th place today.


Meanwhile, Paul Capdeville, who lost the final match of the Challenger tournament in Cali, Colombia yesterday, has climbed 13 slots and currently has one foot in the door of the top 100 best tennis players in the circuit.


Capdeville, a native of Vitacura, is currently in position 104 and will play at the Petrobás Cup Masters this week.


Nicolás Massú also registered an advance in his ranking, rising three spots to ATP Nº 81.


Just as Capdeville, Massú will also participate in the Petrobrás Cup Masters in Santiago, beginning on Wednesday of this week.
