SANTIAGO.- Nicolás Massú has had a good finish to the season. The tennis player has been steadily climbing in the ATP ranking after displaying high-quality performances at the challenger tournament and is currently moving further away from the top 100 category, and closely approaching the top 50.
The Viña del Mar native jumped three slots this week and is currently listed as Nº 78 in the world.
Meanwhile, Fernando González and Paul Capdeville have kept their positions intact, coming in at Nº 15 and Nº 104 respectively.
In Shanghai, the season's top eight players are currently battling it out in the Master's Tournament. There have been no changes at the top of the ranking and the top 10 players have remained the same.
