Brother-in-law of woman suspected of murdering economist: "She is the devil personified"

SANTIAGO.- "She is the devil personified". This was the statement made this morning by Agustín Molina, the father the girlfriend of murdered economist Diego Schmidt-Hebbel, referring to his sister in law, María del Pilar Pérez López, who has been charged with masterminding the murder that ended the young man's life.

Molina added that he "hopes for justice and nothing more", while reiterating that his family is "destroyed and very sad" following the murder of his daughter's boyfriend at the hands of a hit man that had allegedly been hired by his sister in law.

Molina made the statements this morning as he was leaving to meet with public prosecutors for the case- at the door of his home on Seminario 95 –which is the same place where the young economist was shot last Tuesday.

According to the investigation, Agustín Molina had been the intended target for the hit man that was hired by María del Pilar Pérez.
