"Chupacabras" blamed for bizarre death of animals in Calama

CALAMA.- The owner of a ranch in Calama caused commotion and shock today after reporting the slaughter of 24 of his animals, which were found devoid of all blood and un-eaten, ruling out the possibility that the perpetrators were dogs.

The situation was reported on a piece of land owned by René Antonio Tabilo, which is located in the western part of Calama, where rabbits and chickens were found dead.

Given that there were no footprints found, that the animals were drained of blood and had not been devoured, the legend of the mythical "chupacabras" creature has once again emerged.

The owner of the land explained that he does not know what or who could have attacked the animals in such a way. Police were able to confirm the report after being contacted by René Tabilo.
