SANTIAGO.- Today, the Supervisor of Mutual Fund Administrators (Superintendencia de AFP) announced the results of the ICSA (service quality index) for the May to August period of 2008. This time, the worst evaluation went to AFP PlanVital, which received only 6.45 points, followed by Capital (6.86 pts) and Habitat (7.01pts).
At the other end of the spectrum, Cuprum was indicated as the number one administrator overall with a score of 8.56 points, followed by Provida with 7.30 points.
In comparison to the ICSA results for the January-April trimester of 2008, the Cuprum and Provida AFPs have remained in the same positions as the best-evaluated Mutual Fund Administrators.
With regards to service, AFP Cuprum received the highest evaluation in three of the areas measured –account management and client relations-. While AFP Capital received the best evaluation within the area of pension processing, followed by AFP Cuprum. In account management, second place was awarded to AFP Habitat, while AFP Provida received second place with regards to client relations.
