SANTIAGO.- 2005 was one of the best years in the career of Francisco Arrué. The soccer winger had a great season with the Universidad Católica, and ended the year with an excellent performance at the Clausura tournament and the Copa Sudamericana semi-finals.
Arrué's coach at the time, Jorge Pellicer, would now like to have him once again on the team roster.
Pellicer has asked Arrué to form part of the 2009 team for the Universidad de Concepción.
"He is an interesting player, he plays well", Coach Mario Rodríguez told "El Sur" newspaper.
According to Rodríguez, there could be news before the weekend concerning whether or not Arrué will be making his way to the Eighth Region.
Francisco Arrué has just finished playing on Atlético Nacional de Medellín in Colombia during this year's first semester. The player holds a unique track record that includes participation on all three major Chilean teams: Colo Colo, Universidad de Chile and Universidad Católica.
