SANTIAGO.- The first-string goalkeeper for Colo Colo, Cristián Muñoz, may not be able to participate in the upcoming semi-finals match of the Clausura tournament after he was forced to prematurely leave a practice session today at the Monumental Stadium.

Just after 11:30 this morning, Muñoz suffered a blow as Coach Marcelo Barticciotto was leading a practice session for the centerfielders with the Muñoz guarding the goal post.

After receiving medical attention on the sidelines of the field, Muñoz made his way towards the locker room (noticeably in pain), after he had allegedly suffered a muscle injury that could leave him out of the squad's upcoming match against Cobreloa.

After Muñoz was sent to the locker room, recently recovered Rainer Wirth took his place front of the goal post.

Before the incident, Colo Colo had been practicing defence tactics with Luis Pedro Figueroa, Luis Mena, Miguel Riffo and Roberto Cereceda making up the defensive line, while Domingo Salcedo, Arturo Sanhueza and Rodrigo Millar took over the midfield in an attempt to block any sudden attacks from the rival team.

Later, the team split up to play a mini match.
